When we wrote our text on rake back vs bonus we searched for the current alternatives in regards to available rake back and bonus deals. Often players are asking what deal to go for and the usual answer (by many) is “that you of course should get a rake back deal”. But like we showed in our earlier article it is not always that you should choose a rake back deal.

However…recently we have actually found a place where you can get both a rake back deal and reoccurring bonuses. Sounds great?! We thought so too. That is what this text is as all about.

You can get both rake back and bonus by playing at the right place! You do not have to choose between them.

The math

Since we already have example 1 and 2 in the text about rake back vs bonus we will call this example 3. (If you have not read the previous article please fell free to review the previous two examples here.)

In example 3 we just combine the rake back and bonus Phil got in example 1. You can, by playing about a 1000 raked hands, get both a bonus of $100 and also collect a rake back of about 20 – 40 dollars. A total of a 120 – 140 dollars. Maybe you think that this math would not add up for the poker room, but it does.

So why do they give you both?  

If you know a little bit about marketing you might understand why they want to give their player the best of it. Even if they cut down their short term profit they will in the long run keep players happy. The players that are happy will keep coming back (why shouldn’t they?). Also people like us that have found out that this works well will tell others about it (otherwise you wouldn’t read this article would you?). So by lowering a short term profit they build for the long run. In our opinion this is a perfect way of doing business.

So have we tried playing there ourselves? Yes, we actually have. Please see our real life example below!

The real life example

We played for 2 months and the first month we contributed 160 dollars in rake. Of these 160 we got 148 dollars back. The poker room offers a $100 monthly bonus and 30% rake back which in turn gave us a $100 bonus and $48 dollars rake back. That gives 92,5% rake back. We redid the test the following month and ended up with 152 dollar ($100 in monthly bonus and a 52 dollar in rake back) of a total of 174 contributed dollars. That gives a total rake back of 87%.

In other words we can very much recommend this deal with both rake back and bonus. Naturally we can’t give you an exact percentage this depends on of how much you play. But that you will get good bonus and rake back we can guarantee you.
